ARTICLE 1 – ORGANISATION
LESAFFRE INTERNATIONAL, a société par actions simplifiée (simplified company limited by shares), listed in the Lille Metropole company register under the number 434 011 458, with registered office at 101 rue de Menin – 59700 Marcq-en-Barœul – France (“Lesaffre”), is organising a contest (the “Contest”), hosted on the saf-instant.com brand website or on the regional Saf-instant website.
The link by which users may access the contest is also published on several official regional social media pages.
Lesaffre expressly informs Entrants that the Contest is not sponsored or managed by the social media concerned in any manner whatsoever.
ARTICLE 2 – CONTEST
To mark the 50th anniversary of the creation of the Saf-instant brand, Lesaffre is organising a contest entitled “Créez le pain d’anniversaire pour les 50 ans de Saf-Instant®” (“Saf-instant 50th Birthday Bread Contest”).
ARTICLE 3 – DATES
ARTICLE 4 – ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to all adults holding a form of ID valid until June 2025 (ID card for French residents, passport for all other nationalities), who have been working professionally in the bakery trade for at least one year. Entrants must have permission to participate (if a bakery employee) and must be a client having purchased Lesaffre products (the “Entrant”).
An individual may enter the Contest only once.
The following are not eligible to enter the Contest: employees of Lesaffre and any other company involved in the organisation of the Contest, whether directly or indirectly, in addition to their family members, and baker demonstrators or bakers affiliated to competing organisations.
Lesaffre reserves the right to ask participants to provide proof that they satisfy the requirements for entry. Anyone failing to satisfy these conditions or refusing to provide proof will be excluded from the Contest, and may under no circumstances receive any prize. They may not claim compensation for such exclusion.
ARTICLE 5: ENTRY CONDITIONS
In order to take part in the Contest, Entrants must:
By entering the Contest, Entrants agree to assign to Lesaffre all rights to reproduce, adapt, modify, truncate, and distribute the photographs, images, and/or text uploaded, the rights to which they personally hold or are empowered to exercise, by any means including digitally and in any format. These rights are assigned free of valuable consideration and on a non-exclusive basis, worldwide and for an unlimited period, solely for the purposes of the Contest.
By entering the Contest, Entrants simply and unreservedly accept these rules.
Any entry that is incomplete, inaccurate, falsified, contains false information, breaches the rules or is received after the Contest’s closing date will be deemed null and void.
The costs of entry (including internet connection charges, for example) shall be borne exclusively by the Entrant.
ARTICLE 6 – SELECTION OF WINNERS
Five winners will be selected by a vote after the Contest has closed, according to the following procedure:

ARTICLE 7 – PRIZES
Any costs associated with or incurred during the week of the trip (e.g. transportation to and from the airport) are the responsibility of the winner. The Entrant and their travel companion will be responsible for obtaining any visas or other administrative documents needed for the trip awarded as the main prize.
The Winners will be informed by email or telephone (as indicated on entering the Contest), and will be provided with an email address to which they must send their contact details (surname, given name, postal address and phone number) within fifteen days in order to receive their prizes.
If the Winner fails to reply within the said fifteen-day period, they will be deemed to have waived their prize.
Anyone providing incorrect information will be disqualified and will not receive their prize.
Prizes won are awarded to named individuals and may not be exchanged nor reimbursed for their cash value.
Lesaffre declines all liability in the event of incidents and/or accidents affecting Winners when using their prize.
Lesaffre reserves the right to replace any prize with another prize of an equivalent value or nature, for any reason, and accepts no liability for such replacement.
ARTICLE 8: FORCE MAJEURE – EXTENSION:
Lesaffre accepts no liability in the event that the Contest should be modified, curtailed, or cancelled owing to force majeure or for reasons outside its control.
In such an eventuality, Lesaffre reserves the right to extend the entry period and to postpone any dates announced.
Any changes to these rules shall take effect immediately when published online, and all Entrants shall be deemed to have accepted them by entering the contest, with effect from the date on which the change takes effect. Any Entrant refusing such changes must withdraw from the Contest.
ARTICLE 9 – PERSONAL DATA AND PRIVACY
For the purposes of the Contest, Lesaffre may process the contact details of Entrants and voters on computer. It undertakes to treat the information collected as strictly confidential and to refrain from disclosing it to third parties.
The personal data of Entrants and voters will be used exclusively for the following purpose: to manage the Contest in accordance with these rules.
Lesaffre will take all appropriate precautions to keep the information it collects secure, and to ensure that it is not altered, damaged, or disclosed to unauthorised third parties.
Pursuant to the “Information and Freedoms” Act of 6 January 1978 and Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016, known as the “General Data Protection Regulation” or GDPR, Entrants and voters have the right to access, rectify, or object to the processing of their personal data. Any Entrant or voter who objects to their personal data being processed shall be deemed to have expressly abandoned any participation in the Contest. ARTICLE 10 – DISCLAIMER
Participation in the Contest implies unreserved acceptance of these rules in their entirety, in addition to internet ethics rules, and any laws, regulations, or other statutory instruments applicable in France.
Participation in the Contest also implies that the Entrant is aware of and accepts the characteristics and limitations of the internet with respect to technical performance, response times when viewing, requesting, or transferring data, the risks of interruption in service, and more generally all risks pertaining to online connection and data transmission, the lack of protection for certain data against possible hijacking, and the risk of infection by viruses circulating online.
Consequently, Lesaffre accepts no liability whatsoever for the following:
Lesaffre cannot be held liable for sending a prize to the wrong address as a result of the Winner having provided incorrect postal address or owing to problems with the delivery service.
It is the Entrant’s responsibility for take all appropriate steps to protect their own data and/or software stored on their computer hardware against attack.
ARTICLE 11 – ACCESS TO AND INTERPRETATION OF THE RULES – AMENDMENTS
11.1. Access
The Contest rules are available on the website saf-instant.com.
11.2. Amendments
Lesaffre cannot be held liable in the event that the operation should be modified, postponed, or cancelled, either partly or entirely, for reasons beyond its control.

ARTICLE 12 – APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These rules are governed by the laws of France.
All product names and brand names mentioned are registered trademarks of their respective owners. The website can be accessed from many countries including France. The laws of these countries may differ from French law, and consequently Entrants unreservedly accept that by participating in this Contest, they agree to be bound by French law, notably in respect of any dispute that may arise in connection with the Contest, whether directly or indirectly, without prejudice to any conflict of laws rules that may exist.
If no amicable resolution can be found, Entrants may bring action before the courts of France.
